Bahía Limón, Torreguadiaro: Its Week of Flamenco, Funk and Live Music
Bahía Limón calls itself a 'chiringochill', which undersells it a bit. It's a chiringuito on Torreguadiaro beach, next to the port of Sotogrande, but what people come for is the evening programme: a different kind of night depending on the day. Here's how the week works and what to expect.
The week, night by night
Sandbeds sets out the summer programme like this. Days are for sunbeds and lunch; the evening is where it changes character.
| Day | What's on |
|---|---|
| Tuesday | Dinner with a circus show |
| Thursday | Flamenco |
| Friday | Funk party |
| Saturday & Sunday | Live music at sunset |
That's the pattern Sandbeds describes, not a promise for every week of the year, and the guide itself suggests checking the weekly schedule before choosing a day. Bahía Limón posts its plans on Instagram as @bahialimon, which is the most reliable place to look. Sandbeds singles it out as the area's reference for live music.
Late nights: the 'Off Soto Serie'
In summer 2026 Bahía Limón also ran its 'Off Soto Serie', a night session which El Periódico de Sotogrande described as big DJs from 23:00 until the early hours, at the end of July. That's the closest thing to a club night in Torreguadiaro. On 4 September it held a closing party for the season with live music and DJs from 16:00.
Still open into December
Here's the useful bit for anyone in Sotogrande out of season. Despite that September closing party, the local paper reported that Bahía Limón would stay open until 6 December 2026. Sandbeds lists May to October as its usual season, so this is a longer run than normal; confirm on Instagram before a late-autumn visit. With Ágora only opening on special dates in winter, Bahía Limón is one of the few places where you can still have a drink and hear music by the sea in October and November.
By day
Before the evening programme starts, Bahía Limón is a straightforward seasonal beach club. Sandbeds lists sunbed rental during the day and notes there's no pool, so this is a sea-and-sand place. Lunch is the relaxed part; the guide makes the point that daytime is for lying on a sunbed and the night is a different atmosphere altogether. If you want both, come in the afternoon and stay.
A Torreguadiaro evening
Torreguadiaro is the small beach village next to the port of Sotogrande, in the municipality of San Roque. Bahía Limón shares the beach with Chambao, so a common summer plan is a sunset drink with a DJ at one and the night's live music at the other. In July the village has its Feria del Carmen: in 2026 it ran over five days, closing on Sunday 12 July. If you're coming from Sotogrande, the distance is short but parking in the village is tight on summer nights, so a taxi saves a lot of hassle.
Food, prices and how to book
The kitchen is Mediterranean with espetos and seafood from the bay. Sandbeds rates it €€, more affordable than most of Sotogrande's beach clubs, with prices changing by season; there's no published menu with prices, so we won't quote any. Bahía Limón has no working website for bookings. For a table on a flamenco or funk night, message us on WhatsApp with the date and group size and we'll help.
Who it suits
Bahía Limón suits anyone who'd rather have a band or a flamenco guitarist than a DJ booth, and groups who want dinner and a show in one place. It's also the more affordable of Sotogrande's beach clubs according to Sandbeds. If what you're after is a dance floor until six, that's Ágora in Sotogrande; Bahía Limón is the evening before it, or the alternative on nights when Ágora is closed.
