Bahía Limón calls itself a 'chiringochill': a beach bar on Torreguadiaro beach, next to the port of Sotogrande, where the evening is the main event. Sandbeds lists a weekly programme with a circus dinner show on Tuesdays, flamenco on Thursdays, a funk party on Fridays and live music at sunset at weekends. In summer 2026 it also ran late sessions with DJs from 23:00. The food is Mediterranean with espetos and local fish from the bay. And it stays open later in the year than most: until 6 December 2026, according to the local paper.

Tables & bookings at Bahía Limón Chiringochill

There's no VIP product at Bahía Limón; it's a table at a beach bar, which is the point. On flamenco or funk nights tables are the thing to secure, so send us a WhatsApp with the date and group size and we'll help you book. Bahía Limón doesn't have a working website, and its Instagram account (@bahialimon) is where it announces the weekly plan.

How to Get to Bahía Limón Chiringochill

Bahía Limón is on Torreguadiaro beach, beside the port of Sotogrande, in the municipality of San Roque. Torreguadiaro is a few minutes from Sotogrande, but on a night out a taxi beats hunting for parking in the village. Gibraltar is about 25 km away.

Dress Code & Entry Requirements

No dress code is published. It's a relaxed chiringuito: come as you are, with a layer for after sunset.

A week of different nights

What makes Bahía Limón worth knowing is the programme. Sandbeds sets out the summer week: Tuesday is a dinner with a circus show, Thursday is flamenco, Friday is a funk party and weekends bring live music at sunset. Days are for sunbeds and a long lunch; at night the place changes character. In 2026 the venue added its 'Off Soto Serie', late sessions that the local paper described as DJs from 23:00 until the early hours. Sandbeds sums it up as the area's reference for live music, and the guide suggests checking the weekly schedule before you pick a day. On Instagram, @bahialimon posts each week's plan. Pick the night by the music, not by the day of the week you happen to be free.

Open into December

Most beach bars around Sotogrande wind down after the summer. Bahía Limón doesn't: on 4 September 2026 it threw a closing party for the season, with live music and DJs from 16:00, but El Periódico de Sotogrande reported that it would stay open until 6 December. That makes it one of the few places on this stretch of coast where you can still have a drink by the sea in October and November. Sandbeds gives May to October as its usual season, so the extended 2026 opening is worth confirming on the venue's Instagram if you're going late in the year. For anyone staying in Sotogrande out of season, that's useful: Ágora only opens on special dates, so Bahía Limón is often the liveliest thing on a Friday.

Food, prices and booking

The kitchen is Mediterranean, built around espetos and seafood from the bay. Sandbeds rates Bahía Limón as more affordable (€€) than most of Sotogrande's beach clubs and notes that prices vary with season and zone; no menu prices are published, so we won't quote any. There's no website for bookings, so the simplest route is to message us on WhatsApp with the day you want and the number of people, and we'll help you get a table. In July 2026 it was one of the bars showing Spain's matches, alongside Chambao and the port pubs. On busy nights, especially flamenco Thursdays and funk Fridays in summer, a table booked in advance makes the evening much easier. Tell us the night you're after and we'll check it's on.
