Gigi's Beach Sotogrande: What to Expect from the Paseo del Mar Beach Club
Gigi's Beach is one of the beach clubs on Sotogrande's own beach, on Paseo del Mar. It's not a party venue and doesn't pretend to be. Sandbeds put it sixth in its 2026 ranking of the area's beach clubs. If you're planning a summer day that ends in a night out, it's a good place to start. Here's what to expect.
What it is
Its website splits the experience into a few parts: the sunbeds, a chill-out area, the restaurant, live music and events. It's a restaurant and cocktail bar on the sand, at Paseo del Mar s/n. The name and look have a boho, relaxed feel, and Sandbeds describes it with ambient music and seasonal performances. In other words: a long afternoon, not a late night.
The food
Gigi's describes its menu as a trip around the world, with sections for exotic dishes, fish, meat, vegetarian food and a children's menu. That last one tells you lunch is family-friendly. There's a cocktail list for the later part of the afternoon. No prices are published online; Sandbeds rates Gigi's €€€ relative to other local beach clubs, which is a level, not a price.
The music, honestly
This is where older guides and the current picture don't quite match. A sotogrande.com article from April 2021 mentioned DJs on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Today its website lists live music as part of the experience, and Sandbeds talks about ambient music with seasonal performances. We haven't found a 2026 schedule that confirms a weekly DJ, so we're not going to promise one. If music is the point of your day, check @gigisbeachsotogrande on Instagram for that week's plans.
Where Gigi's sits among Sotogrande's beach clubs
Sandbeds' 2026 ranking is a useful reference for comparing the area's beach clubs. Its price levels are relative to each other, not actual prices:
| # | Beach club | Area | Level |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Trocadero | Sotogrande beach | €€€€ |
| 2 | The Beach · La Reserva | La Reserva | €€€€ |
| 3 | MARXA (SO/ Sotogrande) | Sotogrande beach | €€€€ |
| 5 | Chambao | Torreguadiaro | €€€ |
| 6 | Gigi's Beach | Sotogrande beach (Paseo del Mar) | €€€ |
| 7 | Bahía Limón | Torreguadiaro | €€ |
So Gigi's sits a step below the top three on price, with a more relaxed feel, and on the Sotogrande side rather than in Torreguadiaro. For music after dark, Sandbeds points to the Torreguadiaro pair, Chambao and Bahía Limón.
How it fits into a night out
Use Gigi's as the first part of the day. A summer plan that works: lunch and a sunbed at Gigi's, sunset drinks with a DJ in Torreguadiaro at Chambao or Bahía Limón, then Ágora if it's one of its nights. Gigi's is a summer beach club, and its 2027 opening date hasn't been published yet.

Gigi's takes bookings through the reservations page on its website and on WhatsApp at +34 696 674 753. It also hosts private events. If you'd rather sort the whole day and night through one contact, message us on WhatsApp and we'll help with the pieces.

- There's a children's menu, so lunchtimes can be family-friendly.

- Its website is in Spanish and English, handy if you're coming from Gibraltar or the UK.
When to go
Sandbeds says most of the area's beach clubs peak between May and October, with July and August the busiest months because they coincide with the polo tournaments. If you can, go on a weekday in June or September: same sun, fewer people, and an easier time getting the spot you want.
