Sotogrande in Winter: What's Actually Open at Night

Let's be straight: Sotogrande is a summer place. Its only nightclub runs its season from June to early September, and Sandbeds says most of the area's beach clubs peak between May and October. So if you're here in the autumn or winter, the question isn't 'where's the party?' but 'what's actually open?'. We went through what the venues themselves and the local press have published for the 2026 off-season. This is the list, with what's confirmed and what you should check before you go.

Ágora: special dates only, starting with Halloween

Ágora closed its summer on Friday 4 September with 'One Last Dance', which ran from midnight to 06:00. Outside summer it doesn't open every weekend; it opens for special dates. The next one on its event listing is 'Oasis Halloween: Terror Lab', on Saturday 31 October 2026, listed from 00:00 until close. Entry is over-18s and the dress code is 'Casual'. When we checked on 11 October, the €15 first release had sold out, the €20 second release was on its last tickets and a €25 third release was next, each with one drink if you're in before 1am. The free girls' list was already full, and Terrace tables started at €200.

Bahía Limón: open until 6 December

The surprise of the 2026 off-season is in Torreguadiaro. Bahía Limón, the chiringuito next to the port of Sotogrande known for its live music, held a closing party on 4 September, but El Periódico de Sotogrande reported that it would stay open until 6 December. Its summer week, as Sandbeds describes it, was circus dinners on Tuesdays, flamenco on Thursdays, funk on Fridays and live music at sunset at weekends. Expect a shorter programme out of season and check @bahialimon on Instagram for what's on that week.

Trocadero: Thursday to Monday, until midnight

Trocadero's own page gives its restaurant hours as Thursday to Monday, 11:00 to midnight, closed Tuesday and Wednesday, with the kitchen open 13:00 to 23:00. The page doesn't say whether those hours change in winter, but Sandbeds describes Trocadero as open for much of the year. It's a beach club and restaurant, not a party venue, so in winter think long lunch or an early dinner by the sea rather than a night out. The DJ sessions and the August festival belong to summer. Phone the venue before you go.

Bunker Beach Club: the one that says 'all year'

Bunker is the beach club that explicitly markets itself as open all year round. Its website talks about living the beach in every season and mentions its DJs, a seafood-led menu, a wine list and cocktails. Sandbeds places it at Guadalquitón and notes the DJ sessions are occasional, on summer Saturdays, so in winter it's a daytime and sunset plan rather than a music night. Bookings are by phone on +34 744 40 42 41, and it's on Instagram as @bunker_beach_club.

The Beach at La Reserva: an autumn lunch

Après Beach, The Beach's Friday deep house sessions, ended in August. But its own page announced Entre Granos from 15 September, Wednesday to Sunday: seasonal starters, five rice dishes and a homemade dessert for sharing, and from 30 September each booking came with a free sunbed at The Pool. It's not nightlife, but on a sunny autumn day it's one of the few places in Sotogrande that still feels like a beach club.

The port pubs

Sotogrande has a handful of bars where people gather to watch football: in July 2026 El Periódico de Sotogrande listed Maloney's Irish Bar, Hairy Lemon, La Pala, La Oficina Bar Deportivo and Fresco Marina, along with Chambao and Bahía Limón, as places showing Spain's matches. We haven't found published winter hours for the port bars, so we're not going to promise they're open on a given Tuesday in January. They are, though, the most likely spots for a pint and a match on a winter weekend.

What's closed until spring

  • Chambao in Torreguadiaro: its website says it opens in April; Sandbeds gives May to October as its usual season.
  • Gigi's Beach: a summer beach club; no 2027 opening date published yet.
  • Après Beach at The Beach: summer Fridays only (June to August in 2026).
  • Ágora's weekly summer nights: back in June, judging by 2026's 19 June warm-up.
  • Afterpolo: not seasonal but gone. It was discontinued after the 2024 summer, according to andalucia.com.

Christmas and New Year

At the time of writing, no venue in Sotogrande has published a New Year's Eve party. Ágora's pattern of opening for special dates makes it the obvious candidate, but until there's a listing we won't announce anything. We'll update this guide as soon as there's something real. If you want a proper club night in the meantime, Marbella has clubs open year-round; the centre is about 58 km away, around 45 minutes by car, so it needs a driver or a taxi. We compare the two in our Sotogrande vs Marbella guide.

One last tip for the off-season: before driving anywhere on a winter night, check. Opening days shift once the summer staff leave, and a quick message to the venue, or to us, saves a wasted trip.
